Abstract Submission

Abstract submission deadline: May 25, 2022 (extended).

For Abstract Submission, the participants must choose one of the following themes: Synthesis, Glycobiology, Carbohydrates for medicine and diagnosis, Carbohydrate Polymers and Material Sciences, New development in Glycosciences, Carbohydrate Structure and Analysis, or Glycoconjugates and vaccines in order to redirect it to the corresponding International Scientific Committee. 

It is mandatory to select the presentation type: Oral Communication or Poster (some posters will be indicated for Flash Presentation). ONLY POSTER AVAILABLE

The results of the Abstract evaluations will be displayed at the Symposium homepage, using the login and password.


Before abstract submission the author should proceed with the Online Registration. 

For registration, you will be able to generate a password to access the abstract submission tool in your Personal Area.

In the Personal Area you will be able to submit your abstract(s) and replace the submitted abstract(s) at anytime until the deadline for abstract submission. 

For each abstract you should indicate the other authors and the preferred type of presentation (Oral or Poster). 

If you don’t receive an e-mail with the confirmation of the abstract(s) submission, please contact us. 


First author MUST be the presenting author and MUST be registered. 

Each registrant is permitted to submit only ONE abstracts as presenting/first author; additional abstracts submitted with the same presenting first author will be accepted, however in this case the author should contact the organizing committee. 

Abstracts will be considered only if the following guidelines are respected. 

The abstract cannot be longer than one page for both oral and poster presentation. 

Accepted abstracts will be published in electronic form. The abstract should be written in such a way that the Background, Objectives, Methods, Results and Conclusions are clearly described. However, the use of these headings in the abstract text is NOT mandatory. 

Abstracts MUST be submitted electronically according to the given instructions. Abstracts submitted by fax or by email will not be accepted. 

Abstracts should be submitted in MSWord format or any compatible file format. 

When submitting your abstract, choose the most relevant theme. However, the Organizing Committee reserves the right to decide on a final topic assignment upon abstract selection. 

Abstracts from presenting authors who are not registered to attend the Meeting WILL NOT be accepted.
